Does your child hide something from you?

Isn’t it common for kids to do so?

Have you ever thought what can be done on it?

Here is a glimpse of my parenting, maybe not perfect, but I enjoy it.

Somewhere under the same sky

Somewhere under the same sky

where stars twinkled in our eyes

lay ME and you

world apart,

and all I knew was through the twinkle of an eye

the wind muttered to me, that you are away and waiting

even in the silence of the night sky

as I lay beneath the sky overlooking you and me

I could hear my heart tremble at the thought of you

All I knew was that you are just a whisper away..

Broken !!!

Broken !!

Are you?

I paused in front of the mirror,

it was  just a reflection,

with a smile…

sneaking away from my tears,

that was hibernating forever.

Warmth that soaks

Do you know warmth means to me?

It is the warmth the snow gives to the land it covers..

the shade that a tree gives the grass..

the hush of breathing,

that falls on my skin

the triggers from your fingers..

that just sway on my skin..

when in proximity..

it is that warmth,

that my soul craves for…

that only your arms could bestow..

the warmth which your lips

peck my forehead …

pause my heart, engulfing my thoughts

that just leaves me dripping wet…

the warmth that drenches me..

here I wait, for you…..

I remained…

adult alone anxious black and white

“let us break away”

it was his last words…

unknown to him was that,

he had already broken me into pieces,

the moment he deiced to disconnect with me…

words became numb to my ears,

the world seemed to blink away from my eyes..

but you remained…

until you walked away

fading into space

that never brought you back..

And I remained there…

knowing you might never return to me…

like the shore awaiting the waves…

I stayed like a barren land…

for the drops to quench the thirst.
